Hugo and Janet Redford have a long history of hospitality at many of the greatest sporting events and venues in the UK. We both started work in Trust House Forte hotels. Hugo’s career started as a trained chef before moving into hospitality management. Janet ran a ski chalet in the Dolomites and developed a love of skiing and good food and wine at that time.
Our real passion for food started when Janet worked for Prue Leith’s company. Some of the events we have been involved with include Royal Ascot, Henley Regatta, Lords Cricket ground, Twickenham and the Ryder Cup. We met when we both worked for Letheby and Christopher at Windsor Racecourse.
We fell in love with the Pyrenees Orientales in 2003 when we bought a small house in Olette. We have since discovered many beautiful sites and lots of gastronomic treats. Tired of the rat race we have decided to share our love of the area with others and let you sample A Taste of Catalonia.
